By purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read and agree to the following:

OFFICIAL RULES   
RULES AND REGULATIONS – ELIGIBILITY: Entry purchaser, and anyone to whom an entry purchaser legally transfers an entry, must be either a business entity or an individual 21 years or older and a legal U.S. resident at time of entry purchase. It is not necessary to be a resident of the state of Arizona, but one must be physically present in Arizona at the time of entry purchase. Tickets will be sold through The Junior League of Phoenix, Inc. authorized employees, authorized JLP volunteers, and online. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (602) 234-3388, online at www.jlp.com, or onsite at 2505 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004 (JLP Headquarters). By law, raffle and table reservations must be purchased with a separate check or charged to a credit card. Due to postal regulations, raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail should tickets be purchased by mail, online or over the phone. Accordingly, an authorized representative from JLP shall complete the ticket by filling in the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of purchaser. It is the responsibility of ticket purchaser to correctly provide contact information including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address so that they can be promptly contacted should they be deemed a winner. A receipt of purchase with ticket numbers will be mailed to ticket purchaser. 

AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY OFFICIAL RULES: Each eligible person who enters the raffle agrees that his or her entry into the raffle operates as their full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Also by entering the raffle, each person agrees to perform all conditions and obligations required by these Official Rules. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. DRAWING: Tickets will be sold at two price points: single tickets for $5 and 5 for $20. JLP assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or non-delivered entries. Any mutilated, incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. All entries will be entered in the drawing to be held within the week following the 8th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Paradise Valley Mall.  Winner need not be present to win. Winner not present at time of drawing will be notified by email no later than November 10, 2020. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. Once a prize selection has been confirmed there will be no returns or exceptions. 

TAX & IRS RULES: According to the Internal Revenue Code, amounts paid for chances to participate in a raffle/game of chance do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions. Taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winner. JLP did not estimate the value of the prizes; the value has been furnished by the contributors of the items. A Form W-2G will be filed for every person who received $600 or more in gambling winnings. The W-2G will be filed with the IRS and a copy will be mailed to the winner. No withholding is required on prizes under $5000 if the winner provides a valid social security number. For each awarded prize over $5000, JLP will also withhold/collect from the winner federal withholding equal to 25% of the prize value at the time of check out and will remit such to the government.
